Rob Harvell

Rob brings a wealth of knowledge from a diverse background. He served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and later in the National Guard, where he was part of the infantry in both roles. During Operation Enduring Freedom, Rob served as a squad leader. After attending sniper school, he transitioned from a sniper to a sniper team leader and ultimately became the sniper platoon sergeant.

Following his military service, Rob worked as a private military contractor, providing high-threat security for various government clients in support of their missions across the Middle East. His responsibilities included providing overwatch, mission planning, counter-sniper operations, and precision fire support while escorting clients through operational areas. Most of the time, Rob served as a Team Leader, where he oversaw the selection and training of new team members, as well as the ongoing sustainment training essential for mission success. This continuous training was critical due to the team’s indigenous-style movement within their operational environments.

Rob has also developed curricula for basic and advanced sniper courses for military personnel and law enforcement SWAT snipers nationwide. He has successfully trained hundreds of students in the trade, earning widespread recognition for his expertise..
